The Song That My Heart Sings
The Song That My Heart SingsBy: Charles Pugh
Come in my dear close the door
Take a seat right here
I know you’ve never seen that chair before
Take a ride through my mind and make sure that nothing
Is left behind
The first journey is through the vein that leads
Straight to my heart
And instead of blood running through my veins
There’s a constant flow of letters
The letters of your name
As you go a little further you would see
My vein turning blue
No letters in that area from the pain that I brought to you
Now that part of the vein is suffering cause you no longer flow through
No letter no blood no fluid nothing to live for it’s a disease there’s never been
A cure for now turn your head to the left do you see my heart
Do you see the man trapped drawing pictures of you
As he sings the words “I love you forever, I love you forever, we will always be together,
always be together, always be together
and those words circle around making a wall that I can’t let fall
and in my brain it’s the samething a constant flow of my love’s name
