The Twinkling Specks
When you look at the night's sky,So breathtaking and awesome,
It's then I have to remember,
How pleasant things can be.
If it could just stay like this every night,
And never experience a starless night,
I frequently learn new things,
And my knowledge is ever growing,
I need to see the twinkling specks,
To give me everlasting peace of mind.
I can't seem to fantom
How these twinkling specks sooths me,
My Lord created this just for me
For it makes my body feel so weightless.
Just gives me gentle reminders,
How I will continue to grow.
As You continue to strengthen me,
And keep me at peace for each new day.
I thank you for all the twinkling specks,
For it is always comforting to me.
