    This Christmas Eve..

To my Step Mom, This Christmas Eve, That was the time, You decided to leave. You made your choice, You chose God. You saw him that night, You gave him that nod. You knew you were ready to go that day, No more hurt, No more pain. No more crying, the tears falling like rain. You were tired and you had enough, It was so hard trying to be tough. Giving it your all to show that smile, Playing with your grandkids, hurting all the while. Watching your kids grow, while you feel so enclosed. No one understood, No one gave a second look. It was hard to feel this way, But God sent his angel and took your pain. He took you on this special day. Your favorite time of year. He took you home to be with him, So he could hold you near!!

I love you and miss you and send you hugs....thinking of you this Christmas...you'll always be loved!

i feel acceptance from this piece, and love ... compassion ... an understanding that no matter how hard we try, knowing another's experience is impossible/difficult ... and the very best we can do is support and cherish those close to us, in every stage of life ... beautiful piece, thx for the post!

    Sad, very Sad!

The true philosopher and the true poet are one, and a beauty, which is truth, and a truth, which is beauty, is the aim of both.

Ralph Waldo Emerson, American Poet (1803-1882)
