    through the eyes of a child

    The cry of a baby;
    The laughter of a child;
    Makes the day worth while.
    To know I am needed everyday;
    To love and guide you through the day.
    To show you how much I care every way.
    I thank God for my health, my love
    And just because I live another day.
    To guide my children the right way.
    What kind of place would this be;
    If a precious child you couldn't see.
    That's what makes this place a sight to see.
    The children of the world need you and me;
    To love, guide and just to be;
    A new generation of hope and love;
    Just for you and me.
    Look through the eyes of a child,
    Tell me what you see.
    Is this a worthwhile place to be?
    Is this a world for you and me?

    A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

    Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
