Throw Away Child

The poor innocent waif ran the streets at night.
Down and up the alleys she went,
Seeking out the love she would not find.

The black demon embellished her with his open fierily arms.
He pulls her into the abysses.
Lays her on the bed of glowing embers.
Sucking on the sweet nectar from her untouched body.
The virgin child laid motionless as her body is sucked dried

Her ashes are scatter upon the earth from which she came.

Poetry is either something that lives like fire inside you or else it is nothing, an empty formalized bore around which pedants can endlessly drone their notes and explanations.
