Poem Commentary

Be You

Trick or Treat

do not be a treat for a trick
that is tryin to lay a lick
on the prowl
tryin to be slick
on them streets puttin in work
tryin to get out the dirt
i say stay home
because ghost are gobblings
and children need to be fed
dont be the last taste of some bread
because the kids will be left with just butter
with no other
mom and pop left in the gutter
