    Underwater Sea

    Underwater Sea

    Once upon an hour,
lived a fish and a flower,
    near the Caspian Sea.
oh, how they danced in the wind and sand,
until the day the flower wilted and
the fish washed away in the foam.
    He waddled and widdled,
    Back to his underwater home.

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

    Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
