    Poem Commentary

This is a poem I just thought of.

    unhappiest moment

A long time ago when I was four
I heard a loud knocking on the door
I answered and looked quite dismayed
Couse there on the floor my brother laid

My mother cooed and my father awed
As that baby cried and sqwaaed
I told my mom to send It away
But despite complaints my brother stayed

I got to like the little guy
Until the day they asked if I
                     Would let them have another

it's wonderful. i can't really say i can relate to it because im the youngest. But overall, it was an outstanding poem. Great imagery and use of words.

    Thanks

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
