    untitled

No matter how you see me,
    you see me different.
    Overweight, a big girl, fat,
    any sentiment you want.
It doesn't matter how you say it,
    It cuts like a knife.
You don't know how it feels,
Or that it makes me cry at night.
    My whole life
Words have caused me to live in a shell,
Ive been called every name in the book,
    I've lived in hell.
To have a life with that kind of label,
    Never having the courage,
To put your soul on the table.
Too afraid my tag would show,
    The "fat girl" name,
    is all I know.
Is that all there is to describe me?
    Don't misunderstand,
    Truthfully,
    That is what people see.
    Sadly.
Because there is so much more,
    inside of me.
If that's what you think when you look at me,
    Don't apologize.
    Just really see me,
    Open your mind.
