    Untitled

    Shall I love you
with an intensity you have never known
with a fire never recorded in any sonnet - any history
with eyes impossible to see beyond you
Should I allow the light dancing in your eyes
to leap out and paint the entire horizon of my future?

I will pierce through you then laser like but become
rooted within, if you gather me
I'll germinate - blossom throughout you
the seed of me flowering in your fertility
    birthing a cornucopia of sensations
tongue and lips warm and moist along the nape of your neck
more warm wetness painting so many more places
until dendrites ignite, where you were dark
together, we'll burn like forth of July sparklers in childrens' hands who run
    fingertips setting one another off
We are the first children made innocent; by combination
of love and lust, the tumblers which unlock us

I ask again - Shall I love You

You definitely ignite some dazzling imagery here! I found line 15-17 very creative! Good work!

Thanks for reading. Glad you enjoyed it. peace Milton

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

    Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
