    Valentine's Day

In this loving time of year,
    Full of chocolates and cards,
And sweet songs first sung by lyrical bards.
There is one thing that I hold dear.

    This object that I hold,
    Is a heart piercing arrow.
    Which all lovers should know,
    Is far greater than gold.

And when the archer let this arrow fly,
She was sure that her shot would never miss.
For her skils were as great as the goddess Artemis.
And as it pierced, I knew that all my bad feelings were going to die.

I have shown my feelings with lyric and rhyme.
    The lyrics of love,
    the rhymes from above.
So if you will have me, please Be Mine.

Cute, I like it.. It takes me back to when love really meant something :-)

Poetry is either something that lives like fire inside you or else it is nothing, an empty formalized bore around which pedants can endlessly drone their notes and explanations.
