    Vanished

    Like a rose
    Wild and thorny
    Risen from the garden
    Of a long forgotten child
You look into a world of hollow eyes
    and empty faces
The friends you once had no longer exist
    You have nowhere to go
And no one to turn too
    The trust you once knew
Vanished in mist of endless lies
    And twisted betrayal
The dreams you once had gone
And the flames of hope inside you dissappear
Along with everything else you us to know

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

    Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
