Traveled far for my man

A shiny star took my hand

Happy days full of love

Sharing ways God above

I came home a sad bride

Thoughts roam lust to hid

Left him there feeling cold

Alone to fare growing old

Fake a smile missing much

It's a hard life I need him here

Patience my wife I love you my dear

You are my life please beware

Take care my wife snakes are tehre

My sexy wife for only you I care

We're not apart the time we share

Affidavits to start petitions pending

Waiting to move on what their sending

Just time we're apart it's just time I pray

Our lives will start reunited one day

I left the US went to Jordan 5 times and married my Husband, who I had to leave there. I came home after a month with him to spend 18 months apart waiting for his visa to come live here with me. Immigration is hard costly and takes to much time! Now he is here and the only job he could find that payed anything was a truck driving job. So he is on the road now and gone from home weeks at a time. I have not seen him in over a month now and I miss him so very much! He calls often each day but

Poetry is either something that lives like fire inside you or else it is nothing, an empty formalized bore around which pedants can endlessly drone their notes and explanations.
