    WAS IT SO BAD

        As I stand at your grave
        and think of your life
        I often wonder
        Was it so bad
        that you had to
        take your own life?
        Would it have helped
        had we been able to talk
        like we did when you were
        young?
        It seems such a waste
        to have lost my oldest son
        in the prime of his life.
        A tradgedy really
        that you thought there was
        no other way out,
        that you thought it
        was so bad that......
        you had to
        take your own life.
