We Are The End

We Are The End

The stage is set,
the final act still remains.

One by one,
the main actors step in.
Famine spreads her lengthy dress,
War flashes his bloodied knife,
Deception Gallantly waves to the viewers,
Death, he awaits,
sitting in the front row.

The brainwashed audience
cheers on the destruction,
by just sitting and watching.
I cannot understand
such pathetic ignorance.
This mockery of nature
must not go on.

There is no avoiding the end,
but to delay our finale,
we must strike with the hands
of the omnipotent Director.

dark and death - nice - try my "The Grim R4eaper"---------

In science one tries to tell people, in such a way as to be understood by everyone, something that no one ever knew before. But in poetry, it's the exact opposite.

Franz Kafka (1883-1924) Czech writer.
