Weep Not For Me
Weep not for me
The fishing trips were great
How we'd always have our fish stories
Grilling out was fun
Though sometimes it'd get wild
Suppertime I'll be late
But you hold dear our memories
Get out and enjoy the sun
I'm now home as God's child
We'll have to wait
To travel the bluset seas
Our good times aren't done
Just the past is now filed
Weep not for me
I'm up here watching you
Go on and bounce around without a care
Remember who you truly are today
Look forward to the morning dew
Let your feet be bare
And go very far; far away
Keep the sky above blue
No need for your heart to tear
Steer forward in Gods way
But please weep not for me
The fishing trips were great
How we'd always have our fish stories
Grilling out was fun
Though sometimes it'd get wild
Suppertime I'll be late
But you hold dear our memories
Get out and enjoy the sun
I'm now home as God's child
We'll have to wait
To travel the bluset seas
Our good times aren't done
Just the past is now filed
Weep not for me
I'm up here watching you
Go on and bounce around without a care
Remember who you truly are today
Look forward to the morning dew
Let your feet be bare
And go very far; far away
Keep the sky above blue
No need for your heart to tear
Steer forward in Gods way
But please weep not for me
