    What I Never Had

I never knew what it was like to really have a home. Going through eight different schools never made things easy. Always the outcast, it made me ask why. people tried so hard, it made them cry. I walked the halls quiet and alone. Always wishing I had a home.

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

    Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
