What Is Love?
Love what is it?
Is it the feeling
That I have now
Or something else?
Is my heart tricking me?
Is my heart saying "yes"
While my mind says "no"?
Love is confusing
Love is complicated
Love is sometimes heartbreaking.
Someone tell me what love is?
Am I in love with you
Or is this fake love
Like all the others before you?
Do you love me the way I think
Or am I all wrong?
Please tell me
If this love is going astray
To never be found again.
Poetry is either something that lives like fire inside you or else it is nothing, an empty formalized bore around which pedants can endlessly drone their notes and explanations.
