    what you left behind

I saw him today,a love you once knew.
His face showed trails of saddness,
    I think because of you.
In this world you told me,that love
Was hard to find. but with him you said
    It never really mattered,
But you ran out of time.
But seeing him reminded me of
    Things in the past,
Of love and memories that really never last.
    Dianne Burnette

I really liked this ......... reminds me of something lyrical ---- Reminiscent of the Beatles !

Poetry is not the expression of personality but an escape from personality.

    T. S. Eliot (1888-1965) American-English poet and playwright.
