    where success lies

she cries for the moment, unaware that her chance has passed her by.with a glimpse the old man gives her a rather wry smile, with a single tear drop let loose from the corner of his eye.you see he'd seen this happen before and then again.noone knew who he was but, they could tell where he'd been.overcome with grief the woman starts to give up.she takes a look to the west and then into her empty cup.thirsting for a life she's always wanted to possess,so the old man points in a new direction, can anybody pass the test?

Poetry is finer and more philosophical than history; for poetry expresses the universal, and history only the particular.
