Where Will I Be?
Where Will I Be?
You do things all the time
I really don’t understand,
When all I really want
Is for you to be my only man.
You seem to play games
And completely mess with my heart,
When all I really want
Is to never grow apart.
I listen to what you say,
I listen to all of your lies,
I hear every single one
Of your fake alibis.
You say you really love me
At times you actually do,
But I often wonder
Is your love really true?
There are so many emotions
That run through my mind,
It all comes off to me
I’m not the love you are out to find.
I try to be everything
You want me to be.
I really do hope and wish
You will soon open your eyes to see.
The biggest fear of all
Is it may be too late.
You may miss out
On that one perfect mate
I do things for you
I would never normally do,
Somehow or another
You do not see that I do.
There are a million and one things
I could offer to you,
But you still continue
To hurt and make me blue.
Please open your eyes
And see what’s there,
By the time you do
Who knows, I could be anywhere.
You do things all the time
I really don’t understand,
When all I really want
Is for you to be my only man.
You seem to play games
And completely mess with my heart,
When all I really want
Is to never grow apart.
