    Who am I out there?

I walk around in a fog.I can't connect with anyone at all.I feel lost and alone. No one talks to me.I don't belong in any group.I don't have a sence of time.I go out long enough to get some air. They look at me like I am an alien and give me an unfriendly stare. Who am I out there?

Poetry is not an expression of the party line. It's that time of night, lying in bed, thinking what you really think, making the private world public, that's what the poet does.

    Allen Ginsberg (1926-1997) U.S. poet.
