Who Cares

Who Cares

Who cares?
Well how am I suppose to know?
Who cares?
What I do or where I go
Suppose I just wander
Who cares
What if I have no where to go
Who cares
Well, I don't know

I'll just change the subject
Maybe then some one will see
That I am a person, a me
Does it really matter
If I am known
I have a place a home

Hmmm, does some one have an answer
When did I become me
oh if someone has the answer speak to me
If I heard a whisper
in a silent moment
Could it be

In the beauty of the earth I can see
The hand that made the universe
the heart that made the star
carved in wood and hanging
it comes clear to me

I heard His voice
Forgive them they know not what they do...
And I saw...I saw
till there was only You

In science one tries to tell people, in such a way as to be understood by everyone, something that no one ever knew before. But in poetry, it's the exact opposite.

Franz Kafka (1883-1924) Czech writer.
