    Why i keep trying.

Jennifer used to be His "Jenny".
And this man, she called "My Randy".
Up and coming into this scene, a Memory...
who was very similiar to 'penny'.
    Then suddenly Randys Jenny,
    started to become Super Skinny
at the Peak of their Fabulous Romance.
Tired, little Jenny had but ONE CHANCE.
She could no longer live this lie anymore.
And she could Never Tolerate his Whore.
Ohhh! the stories, tales, gossip, and lore,
his terrible, unfathomable behavior...she could hear No More!
And so with a broken heart still trying to heal,
she decided to make One Last Appeal.
She would show him, this revisit to his past Was Not Real.
Desperately, Randy must remember how to feel.
Changing, Cheating, Lying, Betraying, & Whores.
Jennifer waiting, Fighting, even as her Soul painfully Tore.
Her tear filled eyes kept begging for more,
even though her head screamed to just slam the door!!!
And then she remembered why she had entered Battle.
An Image in her mind, came through with great force.
the picture was peaceful. the memory ran its full course.
His Smile, Out of his Soul, Thru His Heart, & Beaming from his eyes.
This light of happiness made Jennifer forget his Lies.
It radiated a sunshine, that could never die.
Joy was felt by all who came upon those eyes.
And so, this girl, will continue to try once again.
Hopefully this boy will stick to a good plan.
I pray everyday He will see that he Can.
Then SomeDay Maybe He'll Return to Be my Man.

thank you so much. this first time i visited a place like this or have let anything i wrote be seen. so thank you bunches.

Poetry is not an expression of the party line. It's that time of night, lying in bed, thinking what you really think, making the private world public, that's what the poet does.

    Allen Ginsberg (1926-1997) U.S. poet.
