    Wishing

I have an ache for the loss of my father. I wish everyday that he would walk through the door and tell me he is proud of me.
I know all the wishing in the world won't bring him back.
He is in a better place now and I will see him again someday.

Poetry is not a turning loose of emotion, but an escape from emotion.
