With GOD I Win

I sit here alone in this County jail;
They set me a bond, but I can't post bail.
I been so down and my minds stays confused;
Not sure where to turn,
My freedom, I have abused:
Maybe this time, I'll learn...

I know this is GOD's will, and he's own my side,
But it's tough in here and no where to hide,
So I go to GOD with my sins to confide...

Now since I've gave GOD my life, I have come to know
He really does love me, and I need him so.
My life is like a play and GOD runs the show...

God is in my life now, I found what I had missed;
As I stand with GOD in heavenly bliss,
I notice he has my name at the top of his list;
I pass through the gates free from all my sins;
I am no longer a loser;
Cause with GOD I win...

Good testimony. I like the fact that you showed us that God will love you no matter where you are or who you are.

I like this, a positive voicing in a negative time.

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
