Written in Honor of You

When you get a few moments yo realize the quietness around you
the memories will then begin to play
you'll cry for him as you fall down on your knees
wishing you would have told him all the things you held back
you never was the type that walked away when things got hard
I always had that covered for you
you might not understand why God waited until now
to take him home to the mansion built in the sky
you just have to remember
he's now a whole man
he never pushed anyone away though
he had a heart big enough to love everyone including me the unknown
when you cried he comforted you with the strenght in his arms
you have never to do something this hard before,
but like you and him told and taught me
"It's time to face your fear and move on"
you never were lonely for he was always there
and still is somewhere inside
you'll see him again when your own time comes
you'll see him waiting on the shores resting his feet in the water
you'll get lost as you look in his eyes of love
you'll get the chance to hold his ahnds without them trembling
you'll once again get to fall into his arms
you'll hear this strong heart beat
you'll notice he's breating on his own and not by some machine
you'll hear the sound of his voice as he tells you "I Love You"
for this is where his new life begins
in the Heavens above
with our loved ones by side waiting for us to wish us our true welcome home.

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
