Poem Commentary

was so deep in love when I wrote this, I wanted to share my every emotion with him and all those around...

'You'

Every time you walk out the door

My heart skips a beat of loneliness

The closer I get

The more I long

Long for you to be near me

To be with me

To be in me and never leave me

I watch us grow

From a distance we are merging two worlds

Yours and mine

Slowly making them one

We move to our own beat

A beat of two people

Two people understanding each other

Learning to love each other

Developing

Growing

Maturing in each other

Living my life with you in it

A blessing like no other

You make me   smile

                    cry

                   laugh

                   twinkle in my eye

My heart skips a beat at your every touch

My body tingles at your every breath

I lose myself so deep at the thought of you

You are like no other

You make me feel whole

‘I would say you complete me, but that would be clichéd’

So instead I say

‘You have come in me and I in you, we are two, yet we are one.’

You are the very depth of me

It’s like I can never know a world without you

A world where I stand alone seems impossible, something that fails my every thought

Who would have thought you’d make me feel this way

I am so happy in you and you in me

I feel swallowed by your every breath

I can only imagine our future

Bright, beautiful, blissful

All because you make it so, because we make it so ;-)

My dear love

Mabebeza

The one who I call ‘my man’

My Mr. Man

My Mr. Musvaire

My darling knight in shining armor

I love you my darling

Thank you for blessing my life so completely

For adding so much to my world

I pray that I have blessed you

As endearingly as you have blessed me

I repeat my worlds

I love you!!

Mwah mwah mwah

Poetry is finer and more philosophical than history; for poetry expresses the universal, and history only the particular.
