Your Eyes Say It All.

Your Eyes Say It All.

Your eyes, they tell me lies.
You may say one thing and I'll believe it.
I would probably follow you to the end.
But your eyes, they tell me lies.

Its your eyes,
they contradict everything you've ever said.
And deep inside I can't help but believe those lies.
Eyes, Deep, and Blue.
So full of Beautiful lies.

I can't seem to run far enough away.
I always come back to you.
I will always come back to you.
To swim in a bed of lies.

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
