    In all this violence, and all this rage With Gods help I will break this cage And return to the kingdom In which we were made I ask him for help He's right there beside me Study the bible It's inthere to guide me Ask for forgiveness I regret all my sins I will trade all my losses For His one win Though my mind wanders I stumble in life Searching for answers But nowhere in sight Seek higher power Our maker the light Put everything carnal out of your mind Yor eyes fixed on Him And follow his lead To surrender to sin Is to be decieved

    I like the message of this piece, but I think it would pack an even more powerful punch if the lines had a pause of punctuation.

    Poetry is finer and more philosophical than history; for poetry expresses the universal, and history only the particular.
