    A Fatal High

    As each day drags on,
    I feel I am just a pawn,
    In this worlds twisted game;
    I pray no one else ever has to feel the same;
    I'm to scared to even run,
    I couldn't bare to lose my son,
    But that is exactly what I have done;
    Have I really sold my soul,
    I have truly lost all control;
    This deadly high never ends,
    These wounds will never mend.

    I like your poems You are one of the best poets I've read.

    Poetry is not a turning loose of emotion, but an escape from emotion.

    T. S. Eliot (1888-1965) American-English poet and playwright.
