    My Bright Starr

    Hold your breath as you dive in,
    Everything I have loved is considered a sin;
    I have traveled so far,
    Searching for my bright star;
    I started this journey because I needed to see,
    Where I was meant to be;
    In this world of endless sorrow,
    We hold on praying for that better tomorrow;
    Letting you go,
    I need you to know,
    Was what I thought would give you the light,
    That has guided me through my darkest night;
    So shine bright my little star,
    And always know I am never that far!
