    A Gentle Breeze

It is upon a gentle breeze,
That everything in life is given
    To us.
It is upon a gentle breeze,
That there is growth, prosperity, and happiness.
It is not upon a gentle breeze,
    That greatness comes on.
    Greatness comes upon changing,
    And stormy winds.
    Greatness comes upon revolution,
But this is not a gentle breeze,
There is no happiness, but famine,
    Death and depression.
It is not easy for the world to change,
Just like it is not easy to change a gentle breeze.
I am sad to admit, life is not
    A gentle breeze,
    But a black storm,
    Bringing shifting winds and rain.
The world is constantly at change,
The world is constantly a shifting wind,
And as it may benefit some, it
    Will hurt the rest.
Such is nature of life, to just live with it,
And expect no gentle winds to make anything easier.

Mother nature is cruel. The winds of change are as you say not gentle, but brisk and stinging. It is life, it is not easy but it is what it is, and we must endure. write on................Tlady

If I feel physically as if the top of my head were taken off, I know that is poetry.
