    a love letter

I miss talking to you. I miss the time we use to spend with eachother. Your face, warm embrace, the look in your eyes when you comforted when I would cry. The cards for Christmas and mother's day and on my birthday. Your sensitivity, the way you treated me and made me feel special. Your calm, cool, just go with the flow attitude. The way you took care of me. The way I knew that you loved me.

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
