A night time poem
A wave of sobs,
this one new, fresh, burning,
where do they come from?
I can't fight this much longer,
As I grow weak,
This sadness grows stronger.
Something methodic,
Quick! Don't let it take me.
I need to focus, not to think.
Quick, fold the laundry.
Walk aimlessly around,
Please, don't let it take me.
Tears threaten again.
Their saltiness burns,
My sensetive skin.
Lethargy my friend,
Can't sleep, can't eat,
Nothing is pleasurable.
I hurt so bad,
Wounds no one can see.
I feel I've gone mad.
Is it all in my head?
That I don't know.
No one to turn to, nowhere to go.
They'll all think I'm crazy.
Of that I am sure.
Can't let that faze me....
I'm crying for help,
No one seems to hear.
Is my voice that quiet?
Or is nobody here?
