A Pathway

A Pathway

A simple soul; angelic breath.
To be struck down by fire, is a painful death.
No home to love, in an evil place.
Together a family, love embraced.
Angels in the eyes of God.

Taking a stroll, amiss the ocean.
Creative creation; unknown devotion.
Held in my hand is your hand,
To guide you through this unkind land.
A Pathway in the presence of God.

A love so pure, is that of God.
A sight so beautiful, is the sight of God.
Who so ever will, I beg thee come,
and live forever, in the land of God.

Poetry is not an expression of the party line. It's that time of night, lying in bed, thinking what you really think, making the private world public, that's what the poet does.
