Flower of Hope
Pain amongst an ocean,
vast as the future to come,
Bright red, the blood of hope,
Forgetting what I've done.
Never to tear in pain; a lie.
I rip out my beating heart.
In sorrow and agony, I cry.
From this forest, I wish to part.
Lost in the sin of death,
Impossible to start anew.
A seedling sprouts its roots.
As a flower starts to bloom.
As a river that never ends,
life will have its curves,
Where ever we flow in time,
Hope is found in words.
Through friends there is a place,
where safety engulfs our hearts.
A sanctuary from this pain,
From this forest, we wish to part.
In every darkened sky,
Stars are a gift of light.
In every time of pain,
It is not entirely night.
Within this darkened forest,
the moon shines its ray,
Pitch black it may be,
but hope will guide our way.
As green as the leaves of spring,
As fresh as the smell of grass,
As pure as the waters of life,
There is a hope, that will always last.
Pain amongst an ocean,
Vast as the future to come,
Bright red, the blood of hope,
Learning, from what I've done...
