A Winter's Night
Lying amiss a starry night, late in this month, December.
Cold, so cold, but beautiful are the nights of the winter.
Tears no more, smiling in awe at the heavens above.
Bewildered, for a beauty is shown, the beauty of love.
Peaceful is the silence. Still lying, am I, on the ground.
Staring at heaven and the stars all around.
No words describe, a perfect perfection my eyes absorb.
Away from this world, and this pain, I beg to be torn.
A kiss so gentle, is a warm breeze of southern air.
Meteorites burn in the atmosphere, a wondrous flare.
Indescribable are the heavens, but divine beauty is shown.
'Tis the stars of the heavens, that chant a glorious song.
Dark and cold, within this world, ruby tears fall.
Surviving pain, living in anguish, and left to crawl.
But when i gaze into the sky, upon stars' light,
All problems vanish; so cold, but beautiful, a winter's night.
