A Soldier's Prayer !
Oh Lord, I had been called to serve my country,
to keep it safe and free,
Being able to do this has meant the world to me,
When duty called me to war and danger,
You were always there to calm my fear,
You instilled in me great courage because I knew you
were always near,
As I faced each day not knowing what was there,
I could depend on you to show me how much you care,
You brought me home, safe and sound,
because you were walking by my side,
Thank you Lord for being my guide,
Now that I am where I am safe and free,
Oh Thank you Lord for always watching over me!
