    a walk in the forest

A walk in the damp forest, Small critters fluttering at the tip of your nose.

You pace toward the roaring river see bright colored fish leaping out the water.

The deeper you get into this green world of beauty the closer you get to heaven on earth.

You walk over the crisp leaves listening to the sounds of nature.

Squirrels lurking out of their home in the aged tree.

Everything will be beautiful until this day ends.

Sitting at the end of the road watching the sunset as twilight arrives.

Glistening shadows of light shining amazingly through the broad branches.

Lying on the wet grass insects landing on you then flying away gracefully.

Rays of sunlight burn through thy soul leavening note look for the beauty in life not the burdens.

Tell yourself it’s going to be fine you don’t have it the worst.
Don’t let evil manipulate your life, don’t let selfishness take over.
Take a long walk in the forest understand that all needs love, earth can render beauty if you let it.

The forest is lost in the fog, get lost in the forest get lost in its beauty it’s so succulent.

How can this lovely place be in this planet of hate and judgment?

Let’s take a walk in the forest.

Appreciating a magnificent moment (and making it last) is always a good way to ease the pressures that burden us from time to time. Your insight (for your age, and I'm sure you're sick of hearing that phrase) is truly remarkable, and your vividly detailed forest is the stuff true poetry is made of.

Hey Yvettelove, I thank you for giving me a most pleasing walk through this very well painted image of a forest! There is indeed such a wealth of beauty around us invested in nature's simple yet complex creation... One can go wild over how a flower was disgned! And then there are beautiful other things like this poem! Greetings: Sammylin.

Dear Yvettelove, I enjoyed reading your poem "A Walk In The Forest"! Its shows both maturity in your character, as well as appreaction for God's creation. It made me feel as though I were there taking that walk through the forest too. For me it seems the key message in your poem was found in that line of...." look for the beauty in life not the burdens". Life is always going to have its share of troubles for everyone, but if we can remember to seek for the beauty and hold onto what is good, then this will give us strength to weather all the bad storms in our life. I started writing poetry when I was your age and my writing style was similar to yours. Keep on writing!

Poetry is either something that lives like fire inside you or else it is nothing, an empty formalized bore around which pedants can endlessly drone their notes and explanations.
