    A WALK IN THE PARK

    A row of mighty Oak
    in dreamy shades of gray
    silhouettes stark, crisp and clear
    against space without distance
    in the unseen seer.

    Majestic in the autumn sun
    a canopy of rustling leaves
brilliant red and gold and amber
the master painter at her best
has graced me with her splendor.
