A Walk With Me
Walking is to mind divine…
As I walk all time is mine;
I drift within the thoughts of yore…
Conjuring dreams long gone before.
Oh peace I seek and always find…
Somber days left far behind;
I watch the mating of birds and bees…
And glory at majestic trees;
I sip the earth now born of rain…
Through nostrils filled of sweet mundane;
Traversing reservoirs of life…
Far away from stress and strife;
What peace I find in mingled thought…
Nature’s way is purely taught;
Through eyes and mind her beauty seep…
Awaken heartfelt--feelings deep;
Caress thy soul---with all around…
For what was lost---may soon be found…
And in the silence; feel natures talk…
Cause all is good…if you but walk.
