    About Credit Cards

Credit is a word with punch
Implies to some one owns a bunch
While in fact the word can mean
That one's purse is very lean
To live on credit causes stress
Creates for some a mental mess
    Credit is combined with debt
Too much of either lets me fret
Credit cards may oft be handy
some use these like chocolate candy
To the point of reckless waste
    Creating debt with bitter taste
I have found that checks work fine
For buying stuff or just to dine
Let credit cards remain with those
Who can afford to buy great clothes
Let cash serve all the poorer folk
Who can't afford a credit yoke
Paying dearly to own a card ?
Just live without - it's not that hard!

The font used for this piece made it very difficult to read, however, I was able to understand must of it and it's a good poem. Thanks for sharing.

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

    Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
