Some in life believe that wealth
Is more important than good health
It also precedes love by far
Wealth is with a king on par
Thus for some the gold does rule
And getting wealth will make them drool
while lack of money is not nice
Some poor let heart turn into ice
    Resulting in some partners parting
    Or, when single, twosome starting
    Money, folks, deceives through stealth
One's worth is gaged by one's own wealth
    Credit rating's public measure
    Of a person's private treasure
Net worth is common calling card
    Call attention mighty hard
    Fancy clothes and fancy car
    Draw attention near and far
Yet money, folks, will never buy
    True happiness for lonely guy

Awe, that's so true! I believe a person's wealth should be measure in the number of true friends and loving family members they have.

To have great poets there must be great audiences too.
