A hero is here plucking blueberries with us,

The great leader plays with mud in our caucus,

A future queen learns ‘bout phosphorus and Venus,

That’s them you see riding in the School bus.

But there is also a killer amongst us,

Sadist minds breed evil all around our campus,

Their perverse eyes make us the point of focus,

They are the enemy sleeping in our bed with us.

A rapist resides within our two mile radius,

The betrayer, like Judas, wines and dines us,

Funny enough, they all go to our Churches and Mosques,

Just remember this, that God is watching us.

When time began, He and the Word created us,

In Eden was a lovely garden made as the locus,

Until Lucifer came with the fruit so luscious,

One bite was the blunder and we caught the virus.

That virus is called Sin and it’s plaguing us,

To remove this curse, He had to become one of us,

Oh yes!! The Word was made flesh and dwelt amongst us,

Thank you, Lord! Emmanuel, God with us!!

 So, need we ask Michael’s question, “What about us?”

Or are we blind to our world that’s in great chaos?

Is it simply because we’re six billion in the world census?

Or we’re just going crazy to survive like a wild circus?

Ah! So unappreciative are we of Your sacrifice on the Cross,

For that, I doubt one-tenth of us will make the final Exodus,

To live in that new city that glows with the Alleluia chorus,

Maranatha! Maranatha!! Please come quickly, Lord Jesus!!!
