THERE WILL COME A DAY
A day will come when our women won’t be grandmothers at age thirty-two,
Daughters, learn to be responsible and disciplined in order to know what to do.
That day will come when you understand your enemies are friends for adversity,
Their script is to play that part where they push you to your place of prosperity.
There comes a day we’ll know who killed Black Dahlia, Princess Diana and J.F.K,
The shock will come when someone gives account before God on Judgement day.
A day is coming when we will understand that money is meant to be a slave,
But mammon uses reverse psychology and dictates how we should behave.
A day cometh when hosanna and alleluia choruses are songs we’ll always hear,
For this, in His presence you must abide; then you, at His side He’ll keep near.
That day comes when men know though it’s their world but the women rule,
Why do you think when you fall in love with one of us, you are called a fool?
There will come a day when America realise they can’t win a war on enemy soil,
And realise the fact that they sacrificed too much red blood for black oil.
A day comes when we know some celebrities pact with the devil to succeed,
Before you envy them, question their wealth; let me warn you, take heed.
There will come a day when a father will stop sleeping with the wife of his son,
Same goes for you too Rev. Father; leave them be, that young lad and the nun.
There will come a day; these prophetic words I hear my girl Faith Hill singing,
Raise your voice, you sweet country sista ‘cos the whole world is listening.
