Amber's Way
Amber, my sweet angel, her way is bubbly and bright.
The way she tosses her hair, the way she curls up at night.
She can go from girlish to grown up. She is caught between child and a teen.
Her laughter and giggles throw light on a room. The brightest I’ve ever seen.
She’s lost many loves in her life; she’s stronger because of the cost.
Though “MawMaw” and “Daddy” are not in her life doesn’t mean that she has lost.
“MawMaw” was a love she can save in her heart, she is never very far.
The “Daddy” she knew, left by his will and she is better not to suffer his scar.
Many who know her see her true heart, she needs love unconditional like us
She may go about things the hard way, and make nothing into a fuss,
But Amber loves all and she loves no matter what color your skin or how poor
She places no value on time. Loves to win and can “even” the score.
She’s her “PaPa’s” girl, her “Mimi’s” angel and Mama’s beautiful girl,
But what most don’t see is the big heart she has and her way will brighten your world.
