    An Nur

    The sun is leaving
    Darkness is coming

    With it comes
    The glowing of the moon

    Shadows will fall
    And give comfort for men

    Walking besides him
    Ever faithful

    Until the dark of night
    Taketh away

    And men stand alone
    With no light

    Who then can he call
    To comfort him?

    Only Allah

    An-Nur
    The Light

    Al-Hadi
    The Guide

    Al-Muhaymin
    The Protector

ALHAMDULILLAH! (I think I spelled it right, I am still learning). That was a beautiful poem. I knew from the title it was going to be beautiful.

Liked your poem, very beautiful and oh, so true ... praise be to Allah, Ar-Rahman, Nir-Rahim!

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
