    As she Dances...

Watching, breathlessly...she moves in awe, I stare at her as she begins not knowing what's next but wanting it to last forever.

She moves like the ocean, sliently and powerful, the waves of her body are like the current...slow but in motion.

She like the night, dark and daring, you're watching and waiting for her next move, I could call her a butterfly...not knowing she's there but once you notice her appearance, you capture her in the air, blowing softly...a circle of peace surrounds you.

She's confident as she turns, eye closed, letting her hands lead the way. Fingertips spread like the wind, blowing every which way, it's like she's telling you a story but putting the words into play.

No sound, just an image and image melting into your mind and still...

So graceful with every stride, she takes you along on a journey sending you around and around to complete satisfaction...

One step after another, I can feel the end but I can't move? She pauses with hesitation, slowly controlling my mind bringing me to deep penetration, pleasing my soul with happiness and joy.

Arms out and accepting, taking you in as a child...you can feel the warmth as she smiles and takes a bow...

She knows and acknowledges, your embrace, still standing in the distance I see her face, in my mind a place of peace, a vision...where only she, dances.....

Poetry is finer and more philosophical than history; for poetry expresses the universal, and history only the particular.

Aristotle (384 BC-322 BC) Greek philosopher.
