    My Song...

I've heard this song a million times; I just didn't know it would be mine.
Conversation after conversation when, still your actions bring me to frustration. I've played this sad song and wrote one too and still attempts I make just don't get through.

I think this is in your plan, you know playing the role of shake and fake. "trying " to be the man.
But I'm onto you and you don't even have a clue that what you do unto other's, will eventually come back to you.

It was like a dream everything that happens for all the wrong reasons and stuck in the middle wrong...was all the right reasons.

Like a web of love and you and I were tangled in our positions, not knowing what direction to turn but you were there and I was willing to learn and maybe if I could show you who I really was then I would not have to question the way you showed me love?

I wanted to understand you, be there for you, protect you...I wanted to be that ear, when life was not going right and it just didn't seem fair.

It was never about me, I wanted you and everything that came in life went 2nd, after you.

I could hear my friends say, "What's wrong, are you okay? Even though I hurt inside, god gave me the strenght to get through each day.
Knowing I'd get over it and he would give me the determination and courage to lead the way.

As time went on, I sang my song but he could no longer hear, everything you ever meant to me came out while crying these tears.

I tried to hold on to the good but this is what I feared...

You heard me singing my song and the words were ever so clear, it broke you down to understand that standing alone I had nothing to fear, you are just one man...I had grown to love and now it was time to let go.

I closed my eyes and sang my song to you and I hope you know exactly what to do?

I've sang this song a million and ONE times and now, I am finally through...
